PARENT ASSOCIATION
The St. Patrick Parents Association is dedicated to strengthening the partnership between
home and school. It provides an organized and effective vehicle for ongoing parent-school
collaboration. Membership in the association is open to all parents, faculty, and parish
members. The organization consists of an executive board and several committee
chairpersons.
The Parents Association provides various activities and treats to the children of St. Patrick’s
throughout the school year. We meet every other month during the school year, and all of our
meetings are posted in the school bulletin and on the school calendar. We encourage our
parents to take part. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Some of the activities we sponsor are:
• Welcome Back Coffee for new families Preschool-8th Grade.
• Helping Hands Committee is for any family in need of meals, prayers, or other services.
• Family Activities such as Back to School Picnic, Family Christmas Craft Night and parent
child events.
• Volunteers contribute to events such as Catholic Schools Week and Teachers
Appreciation Day.
• Organize the four classroom parties for our K-5 students.
All of our activities are posted in the school Friday bulletin, along with the dates and times of
our meetings.
The $10.00 Parents Association dues per family is collected in August, are used to provide some
of the extras to the children during the year. How do you get involved? Either call the school
office for information or simply attend one of our 6 meetings during the school year.
