Arrival / Dismissal Procedures (walker/rider)

ARRIVAL PROCEDURES

 

Arrival is from 7:35 am - 7:55 am. When you pull into the parking lot, please go all the way around the 

Family Garden and then pull up all the way to the flag pole at the main entrance of the school.

  • Students should not be dropped off directly at the Boehm (gym) or Stage Doors 
    • This causes traffic to back up on to Wadsworth Road.
      • Students will have clear walking paths to get to their assigned entrance
      • Parents should remain in their car.
  •  If you are late for arrival, please park and call the school. 
    • We start Morning Prayer/Announcements at 8 am 
      • Students will need to remain in the car until announcements are finished.
      • Students will be marked tardy.
  • After 7:30 am, cars are prohibited from using the bus lane behind the Parish Office.
    • PreK parents should go around the rectory.
    • The traffic attendant will let you through traffic to go to the West Parking Lot.

DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

 

Dismissal is from 2:40 - 3:05 p.m. When you pull into the parking lot, an attendant will direct you to the

appropriate line. Cars will line up in Route 1 first, when that fills, to Route 2 and then Routes 3-7.

  • Routes 1 & 2, do not block the open lane in front of the Family Garden. That is the fire lane.
  • Please stay in your car and have your dismissal card clearly posted on your window.
  • Once Route 1 is gone, Route 2 will follow that same path up to the flag pole for pickup, then Routes 3-7.
  • If you are late for pickup (after 3:05 p.m.) please park your car and call school. Your student will be brought to your car.
  • You get two grace late pickups. After that, there is a $25 charge per late pickup.
    • Our teachers need to stay in the classroom to watch your children until your arrival.
 

Bus Information

There is bus service for those students who live in the Gurnee District #56 School District and the Woodland #50 School District.

If you live in the Woodland District and reside south of Grand Avenue, there is a pick-up and drop-off at St. Paul the Apostle and at the Woodland Intermediate School Building.

If you live north of Grand Avenue in the Woodland School District, your bus location will be in your neighborhood.

When submitting a bus form to St. Patrick School for either Gurnee or Woodland, please send a copy of a utility bill to verify residency. The bus forms will not be submitted without a copy of your residency.
