As we grow we change. for the better. We have added more in-stock merchants to our inventory and have eliminated the wait for special order merchants. We have also increased your tuition credit to half of the total Scrip percentage, which can be as much as 10%! See the attached order form for the complete list of in-stock merchants.

What is Scrip?
It's a way to raise money for St. Patrick School and earn a tuition rebate for your family at no cost to you! St. Patrick School buys gift certificates at a discount, and then sells them at face value, making a profit on each sale. Just make your normal household purchases at the stores you shop.

Where can I use Scrip?
Purchase the gift certificates for the stores you shop usually, and spend them like cash! There are many retail stores, grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants that participate.

Can I use Scrip to pay my store charge card?
Kohl's and JC Penney accept Scrip as payment on your account. When your bill arrives, just order Scrip, go to the store in person, and apply the Scrip to your account.

Who benefits from Scrip?
You and St. Pat's benefit! Our school receives one to ten percent of each Scrip you purchase and you receive one to ten percent, in the form of a tuition credit, for St. Patrick School. Anyone (grandparents, friends, neighbors, etc.) can buy Scrip and designate it for your family. You can help St. Patrick School while making your normal purchases.

How do I get Scrip?
Scrip will be sold in the narthex after weekend masses, on school days with a Scrip envelope through your child's Home Folder.

How do I pay for Scrip?
We currently accept cash or personal check as payment.

Can I charge my Scrip purchase to earn airline miles?
We've had some families indicate that they would rather charge all of their purchases to receive airline miles. For a family of four to fly free anywhere in the U.S. you would have to charge $100,000 ($25,000 per person per ticket). With airline ticket prices today, that is a savings to you of $600 to $1,200 ($150 to $300 per person per ticket). In other words, you would need to spend $100,000 to save yourself $600 to $1,200. Guess what? If you purchase $100,000 of Scrip you will save $1,000 to $10,000 in tuition (1% to 10% of $100,000). At the same time you will be making anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 for St. Patrick's School (1% to 10% of $100,000).

How can I help?
Get into the Scrip habit! You can help out every week by purchasing Scrip prior to your regular shopping. Buy Scrip for your weekly grocery, gas and video purchases, for birthday and holiday gifts, or for dinner at a restaurant. Using Scrip costs you absolutely nothing. These are funds you are already spending in the community, with or without Scrip. Using Scrip allows our local merchants to support St. Patrick's School.
