Admission Policy
St. Patrick School admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school. In admitting students to the school, preference will be given to active parishioners. |

Bussing

Bussing to/from St. Pat's is available from certain areas:
- If you reside in the Gurnee School District, bussing is available. There is a slight fee.
- If you reside in the Woodland School District, bussing is only available in the Woodland School District north of Grand Avenue (Route 132) either from your home or a babysitter's. There is a yearly fee per student to ride the Woodland Bus.
- There are no buses to or from other school districts.

Class Information
Our class size cannot exceed 35 students. Grades K-3 have a full-time teacher and teacher's aide. We are double streamed with two classes each of Kindergarten through 8th grade.

AFTERSCHOOL CLUB Extended Day
"Enrichment" Program:
Afterschool ClubŪ specializes in action-packed, enriching fun ON-SITE for
ST. PATRICK students from school dismissal until 6:00 PM. You won’t find an
easier, more reliable—or enjoyable—solution to your child care needs for
after school and early dismissal days. For details visit

Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular opportunities include: Scouting for boys, Scouting for girls, Band, Student Council, Altar servers, 7th Grade Math Team, 8th Grade Math Team, and Rainbows for All God's Children (support group program for children who have suffered a significant loss in their lives, either by death, by divorce, or any other painful transition). |

Hot Lunch Program
St. Patrick's does provide a hot lunch program through the Archdiocese of Chicago. Monthly order forms are sent out with the children. The children may order by the week; daily orders are not allowed. To view monthly menus, or print order forms, click here. |

Our school hours are 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Kindergarten
Our kindergarten is a full-day program. Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1 according to the Illinois School Code (no exceptions will be made). Names are now being taken for all future kindergartens; however, your name on the list does not guarantee your placement in our kindergarten. |
Mass
Our students attend Mass twice each month on Tuesdays. We attend mass as a school on holy days and special times in the church or school year.

Priority of Acceptance
Kindergarten students will be admitted to St. Patrick School according to the following priority:
- Children of active parishioner families who have children already in attendance at St. Patrick School.
- Children of non-parishioner families who have children already in attendance at St. Patrick School (enrolled prior to January 1, 1995).
- Children of parishioner families according to length of active membership. The following criteria is taken into consideration: frequents Mass and the Sacraments, regularly uses the parish weekly tithing envelope, and service in the parish.
- Children of catholic non-parishioner families from:
- other catholic schools
- schools that are merging, consolidating, or closing
- schools not offering full programs or parishes with no school
- Children of non-catholic families.
Priority of acceptance for Grades 1-8 will be according to #'s 3-5 listed above under Priority of Acceptance for Kindergarten. |
Scouts
There are a number of scout troops in the school, both boys and girls.

The following sports are offered:

The St. Patrick Booster Club is the organization of parents and other adult members of the parish who volunteer to coordinate, supervise, and fund the various athletic activities of the school. |
Standardized Testing

Uniforms
School uniforms are worn. Boys wear light blue shirts and navy blue pants. Girls wear light blue shirts and plaid jumper/skirts, culottes or navy blue slacks. School shoes are worn.
