The St. Patrick Parent's Association is dedicated to strengthening the partnership between home and school. It provides an organized and effective vehicle for ongoing parent-school collaboration. Membership in the association is open to all parents, faculty, and parish members. The organization consists of an executive board and several committee chairpersons. The Parent Association provide various activities and treats to the children of St. Patrick's throughout the school year. We meet every other month during the school year, and all of our meetings are posted in the school bulletin. Everyone is welcome to attend. Some of the activities we do are the Welcoming Committee for new families and the welcome back coffee for all. Helping Hands for any family in need of meals, prayers, or other services. Throughout the year we have some fun family activities and speakers. We have parent & child events, a ladies day out event, and many more that will be announced throughout the year. All of our activities are posted in the school bulletin, along with the dates and times of our meetings. All are welcome and we encourage new and returning families to attend these meetings and become involved. The $5.00 Parent Association dues are used to provide some of the extras
to the children during the year, such as something for the children
during Red Ribbon Week, oranges in December for the visit from St. Nicholas,
activities during Catholic Schools Week, and others . We welcome
new people and we love new ideas. |
