This
area is dedicated to our fundraising efforts,
providing helpful information and important
links.
JOG-A-THON
Our school Jog-a-thon
is a fundraiser that is held at the end of September each year. It is the
only fundraiser that directly involves each student's active participation.
Each student is asked to obtain pledges, in the form of flat donations, for
walking or jogging on this day. The walking time generally does not exceed
thirty minutes per student. Our goal each year is 100% student
participation! The faculty and parent volunteers set up teams, activities,
a DJ, prizes, and a special lunch to make this day fun and memorable for the
entire St. Patrick School family.
ST. PATRICK SCHOOL AUCTION
This special event is
usually held the second weekend in November every year. "A Night to
Treasure" is a fun adult night out that includes over 400 Silent Auction and
50 Live Auction items up for bidding, plus raffles for cash, trips,
tuition and prizes and a chance at "The Lucky Break Raffle" to pick the Live
Auction Item of your choice. The evening begins with appetizers and cash
bar. A full dinner complete with desert is then served followed by the Live
Auction hosted by a professional auctioneer. New this year we will
offer post auction entertainment by dancing the night away to a DJ.
THE SPRING RAFFLE
The Spring
Raffle committee is responsible for the distribution, marketing and sales of
raffle tickets. Efforts are concentrated on school, parish, and local
community involvement. See Spring Raffle website at

SCRIP
What is Scrip?
It's a way to raise money for St. Patrick School and earn a tuition rebate
for your family at no cost to you! St. Patrick School buys gift certificates
at a discount, and then sells them at face value, making a profit on each
sale. Just make your normal household purchases at the stores you shop.
Where can I use Scrip?
Purchase the gift certificates for the stores you shop usually, and spend
them like cash! There are many retail stores, grocery stores, gas stations
and restaurants that participate.
Can I use Scrip to pay my
store charge card?
Kohl’s and JC Penney accept
Scrip as payment on your account. When your bill arrives, just order Scrip,
go to the store in person, and apply the Scrip to your account.
Who benefits from Scrip? You and St. Pat’s benefit! Our school receives one to ten percent of each
Scrip you purchase and you receive one to ten percent, in the form of a
tuition credit, for St. Patrick School. Anyone (grandparents, friends,
neighbors, etc.) can buy Scrip and designate it for your family. You can
help St. Patrick School while making your normal purchases.
How do I get Scrip?
Scrip will be sold in the narthex after weekend masses and on school days
with a Scrip envelope through your child’s Home Folder.
MARKET DAY
Market Day is a fund
raiser offered by St. Patrick School that runs all year long. It takes
place once a month, usually on the third Saturday of the month. It gives
people the opportunity buy quality food items while benefiting the school.
Order forms are sent out a few weeks before and you come to the school to
pick up your order on that Saturday. The school receives 10% of the price
of all items purchased. Approximately three times a year special sale items
allow the school to gain even more profits. If you wish to receive more
information about our Market Day program, please feel free to contact Deanna
Curley @ 847-731-0241 or e-mail at
DDDCJR@aol.com or contact Market Day at
www.marketday.com.
CAMPBELL’S SOUP LABELS
There is a new
procedure for the Campbell’s Labels. We are now collecting the UPC symbols
from the cans. Please visit out website or check out the Campbell’s website
at
http://www.labelsforeducation.com/eligibleproductsEN.aspx We have a
yearly classroom contest to see which classroom collects the most UPC
symbols, so please start collecting. Again, the school gets back a certain
amount for each label sent in.

designate St. Patrick School. Target will donate a percentage of your
Target Visa or Target Guest Card purchases at Target or target.com to St.
Patrick School. If you already have a Target Visa or Target Guest Card, you
can designate St. Patrick School online at

DOMINICK’S FOOD STORES
Here's how SPS
parents can help the school raise funds... Pick up a Dominick's Fresh
Values card at the store and then register the card at
www.escrip.com. Once the card is registered and St. Patrick School is
designated as your "school of choice", Dominick's will contribute up to 4%
of purchases to the school every time you shop. It's that simple!
EMPTY INK CARTRIDGES
The school collects
empty ink cartridges and sends them in for a rebate. If you have access to
empty cartridges, please bring them in and we will redeem them for cash.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST / PASTA DINNER
During the school
year we have three pancake breakfasts and two pasta dinners scheduled. This
is a fundraiser for the school but more importantly it is a time for people
to gather together and visit. Please check our school calendar for the
dates and times.
PIZZA DAYS
Every month during the school year we have a pizza
day. The order forms are posted on the website and each student is able to
order a pizza (personal pan pizza from Domino’s Pizza), soda, and a cookie
or cupcake. The students enjoy this alternative to the hot lunch program.
