Friday, August 15, 2008 was the official first day of work for teachers, principals and staffs of Catholic Schools. To start the new year on a 'high note,' St. Patrick's School hosted a Welcome Back event for all principals and teachers in Council I of Vicariate I. There are 18 schools represented by Council I.

The day began with an address from the new Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Chicago, Sr. M. Paul McCaughey, OP (Order of Preachers, also know as Dominicans).   The address was followed with a Mass celebrated by Bishop George Rassas, Auxiliary Bishop for Vicariate I.  The photos that follow document what a wonderful day it was.  All photographs (except the photo of the principals) were taken by our own Mr. John Hoch.
